Over the last three days it has snowed 45cm on the top slopes, and 20cm in the village. The skiing on the Zermatt side is open down to Trockener Steg with 1,000m of vertical, and the link to Cervinia will open this coming Saturday. As always, Zermatt is the most blessed resort for early snow in the Alps.
